On July 24th we are celebrating International Security Officers’ Day.

Celebrated in many countries, International Security Officer’s Day is a “global security industry initiative,” with the date of the 24th July chosen as it represents the “24/7 nature of security work.” On this day our community is given an opportunity to recognise and thank the security personnel who work tirelessly to keep us all safe, sometimes behind the scenes 24 hours per day, 7 days per week!

ASIAL is asking our community to use this International Security Officers’ Day to “simply smile at that person and say thank you.”

So please, if you see security personnel this 24th July, please give them a smile and a quick thank you to acknowledge that they are truly appreciated and that you recognise them on International Security Officers’ Day.
