These are unprecedented times as we live our lives fighting an unseen enemy. Words that we have never used before are becoming the norm; self-isolation, quarantine, social distancing, asymptomatic, flattening the curve, to name a few.
At the moment, we at Eveready are continuing doing what we do best, keeping our clients, their businesses and homes safe and secure and we intend to continue doing so until we are instructed otherwise by the government. We monitor government instructions and developments closely and ensure that our staff are well informed and updated regularly.
Additionally, we have introduced a COVID-19 Policy to ensure that Eveready staff abide by all the government regulations. Thus, our staff adhere to good hygiene practices (such as washing their hands, using sanitiser or wear gloves when working at clients premises), they maintain and practice social distancing rules of being no closer than 1.5 metres to each other as well as the client, where practicably possible and they adhere to the four square metre rule for each staff member and client where practicably possible.
Furthermore, Eveready staff are aware that should they have any symptoms such as fever, cough, aches and pain, exhaustion, difficulty breathing, they should not attend work or immediately return home if they develop the symptoms during working hours. They must go into self-isolation, seeking medical assistance and testing where applicable. Most importantly, for the health and safety of the remaining staff members and our clients, they will not be allowed to return to work until they receive a formal medical clearance and/or a negative COVID-19 test result.
All these measures have been put in place to protect our clients, our staff and their families.
Eveready are committed to keeping everyone safe and secure.
We must all do our very best in keeping each other healthy and STOP THE SPREAD!
